Assistant Farm Manager – Honey Brook Organic Farm in Pennington and Chesterfield, New Jersey is seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in vegetable production in amanagerial/supervisory position. The Assistant Farm Manager will be responsible for field management (including mechanical tillage, soil fertility, direct seeding, transplanting, cultivation, irrigation management, disease & pest control & crop rotation), equipment maintenance, training and managing interns and field staff and record keeping. The ideal candidate would be available to start immediately and have excellent mechanical skills, and valid drivers and pesticide applicator licenses. Farm Stand Attendants

Honey Brook Organic Farm is seeking friendly, courteous andreliable individuals to work in our farm stands. The farm stand position involves coordinating the producedisplay in the farm stand, replenishing produce from a refrigerator truck orwalk-in cooler throughout the course of the day, interacting with customers andfarm managers and closing down and cleaning the farm stand. Ability to work in hot & cool weather& continually lift boxes weighing as much as 25 lbs. This is apart-time, seasonal position, beginning in August. Honey Brook Organic Fall Farm Internships

Honey Brook Organic Farm CSA, locatedin Pennington and Chesterfield New Jersey, is seeking 1 full time intern. Internships begin in August and are paid (we do not provide housing at this time). Interns work under the supervision of the Chesterfield Distribution Manager. They will also receive instruction from the farm manager, field manager and marketing manager. Interns work approximately 40 hours/week during the late summer/fall months. Seeking a highly motivated individual that works well in a team and independently. Prior farm/greenhouse experience & desire to farm for a career is preferred. Familiarity with Spanish is a plus. Ability to work in cold/heat and continually lift boxes weighing as much as 25 lbs required. Position is for work at both our Chesterfield location as well as our Pennington location.

Internship – Production Focus

The work will be approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% marketing, packing and administrative. Intern will assist with hand cultivation and direct seeding in the field, transplanting, some harvesting and pruning. Intern will also assist with our Boxed Share Program, including packing and quality control. Interns returning for a second year wil learn mechanical skills and equipment maintenance, supply & equipment procurement, compost production and greenhouse management as well as crop planning.

Now hiring Full-time or Part-time staff to work in the farm store, Farmers Markets, winery and our Pick Your Own locations. Tasks include preparation for sale of fruits, vegetables, cider, pies, flowers and more. Use of cash register necessary (we can teach you), but it is not all day behind a register.
